With technology at our fingertips, a more connected public requires PR practitioners to be diligent about the moral underpinnings of our messaging and our behavior. Trust is an integral component of every relationship, whether it’s human to human or human to machine.
This NWO PRSA session will explore the intersection of ethics and artificial intelligence. More specifically, we will examine the implications of moral decision making by machines, the importance of accountability, responsibility and transparency in the use of AI, and how PR practitioners can effectively use this technology to enhance human potential rather than substitute for it.
